Grow with us Field Day: Join the Revitalization of the Sunny South Community Garden

We invite you to join us in transforming the Sunny South Community Garden into a vibrant space for everyone in our community and beyond. Located in the historic part of Fair Park in South Dallas, Texas, this garden holds immense potential to nurture the spirit of our neighborhood.

To make this garden sustainable and thriving, we have an exciting event lined up for volunteers. These include Site Clean-up, Soil Solarization, and Community Engagement through neighborhood canvassing (if time allows). By participating in this event, you will directly contribute to the growth of our community and create a lasting impact.

The transformation begins on Saturday morning, where we kick off promptly at 8 AM. Street parking is available, but we expect a couple of dozen volunteers, so please carpool whenever possible. If transportation is an issue, feel free to contact us ahead of time at (972) 800-1275 or yaritza.torres@dallas.gov, and we will coordinate a ride for you.
